f**k off idiot, we were versing the worst team in the league away from home, resting origin players in front of about 50 people.

We take the points and get the f**k out of there

On a night other than Friday. Dont forget that u handicapped wankers. Geezuz and people wonder why itnis hard to like the Broncos!

Meh, good to win and move on. Thought Brisbane were a bit unlucky with a number of calls though, and obviously the incredibly lopsided penalty count against them didn't help either.

The Knights are close. They just need to learn how to defend leads. They don't seem to have a problem getting a lead but they just can't keep it.

They need to learn how to play smart footy. That 1st set of the second half was fantastic up until the last tackle option.

Notice Gagai never has brain farts at origin level? Good luck Souffs....

Agree, it was reminiscent of that Souffs game, we were unlucky that night too

That is because the defender swings the arm around deliberately trying to knock the ball down. That is playing at it. When they don't deliberately knock it down but swing the arms around, it is classed as a knock on as well because there were too many grey areas. That kick into Roberts was obvious he didn't play at it. You could nearly argue that it was a charge down if he did play at it!
Agree that Sometimes the defender is trying to knock the ball down but even in cases where they are simply making the tackle it is ruled a knock on.

Incredibly lopsided? It ended up 6-3. You want incredibly lopsided, look at the 14-2 count against manly.

God I knew it was a bad idea to listen to Bennett's presser. If there's one person that shouldn't be asked for an opinion on how the Knights are rebuilding it's him.

Average win, but having Milf back with the side for the first time in 5(?) weeks, a side that rarely trains together and missing 4 Origin players it was never gonna be pretty.

Obviously going to have build on this.

Broncos are the 3rd best Qld team behind Storm and Cowboys and just above the Gold Coast. Young Qld players no longer want to take unders to play for Bennet but the old merkin still thinks they do. Would rather be coached by Bellamy or play with JT

Me thinks Brisbane has a good stint in bottom 8 to mid table mediocrity. Will never fall to the bottom of the table though. Too many $$ and advantages for that.

But they dont feel like premiership material with this squad and I worry (trust me it stops me sleeping at night) how they will get back to the top.

As a Knights fan chasing our 3rd trophy in 3 years that comforts me somewhat.

Cue original salty butthurt comments from Donkey fans....

We don't fight fire with fire, Pedge.

If the Broncos continue to play like they did tonight, you could be onto something.

They brought in this rule you are talking about to nullify the grey area in these types of tackles. If you knock the ball forward while defending with your arms spread out in a wrapping motion and as the attacker passes the ball, it is a knock on. The players have accepted this.
However, it doesn't apply to all types of tackles. If it did, Cronk would have scored that disallowed try on Wednesday night or at the very least Qld should have got the ball back.
