Nice fight from South's, but losing like that when the top 8 is slipping away is inexcusable for the Dragons.

I know Dragons fans are leading the "We are crap" brigade, but it is tough to think what else they can do, but try to take perverse joy in their team's implosion.

I still expect us to win the comp after we win a mid week play-off for 8th place.

That would be so epic I could nearly cop a Dragons premiership for that.

I think nowadays there are about 10 tiebreaker for if points and differentials are even, and if it gets to it, they toss a coin to see who makes it.

That would be an inspiring premiership team; one who made it to the 8 on a coin toss.

Sims f**king up is much better than watching him score a try against us.

We are either the new Wests Tigers or the old Cronulla Sharks. Either way wallowing in self pity is all we have as our club administration seemingly don't care to effect the change necessary.

Don't you be stealing our cross.

We earned that for 50 frickin years, and I'm not letting one little premiership and a slight pause in calls for relocation get me down from the cross beams.

We can't get rid of the dope. He wins 5 games and receives a 2 year extension. We're well and truely f**ked for the next decade if this continues.
Leading the comp in April can be intoxicating. And you've got to admit, the media were spurting sauce everywhere.

Newtown made a pre-season final on a coin toss, but they got flogged.

Packer has no impact anymore

The thing with Packer is, when he does make an impact, the Dragons win.

I'd rather have Dufty and Ah Mau. Packer has no heart and plays like shit after he signed and Dugan is injured every game.

Dufty and Ah Mau are our future
The problem with losing Packer is that we are now looking at going into next season with 2 recognised first grade props in Vaughan and Ah Mau. Our other front row options are:
- Sims: Can do the job but not with big minutes. Needs more support from his bench partner, hence why Ah Mau and him worked as a prop-pairing coming off the bench early in the year.
- Frizell: Disgusting waste of a supreme talent if he is used as a battering ram in the middle of the park.
- de Belin: See Friz.
- Sele: Promising youngster, but he's much more suited to the lock role and over the course of a full reason playing prop, he'd burn the f**k out quickly.
- Lawrie: Very young and raw. Will be a few years before he is ready to be completely relied upon as a first grade prop.
- Host: Very, very promising edge backrower, and only a complete moron (like the one coaching us) woud ever consider bringing him onto the field in a first grade game as a middle forward.

We are going to struggle next year, Ben Hunt or no.

I disagree. Everyone you listed is good enough. We just need two good halves or 1 and a decent one who isn't a liability
