To be perfectly honest,everything went horribly wrong on a night were nothing really went Brisbane's way,and everything Para did,turned to gold.

This game is an example of the loser having a dog's breakfast of a night rather than Parra being superb.

Parra made most of their chances and won well granted,but Brisbane had one of those games were the coach says to the team forget about it,go away,and have a few beers and be ready on Monday for training.

Like Parra v Newcastle.

Broncos didn't play too much better last week against the dragons but got away with it.

You've got to give it to the broncos, they generate a fair bit of interest and along with Parra provided the first decent Thursday night game for a while.

I guess tomorrow we'll resume normal viewing and watch some pretty ordinary sides run around.

And I'm not going to read too much into that game as an Eels fan. Brisbane looked drunk half the time and handed us more than a few opportunities. Yeah we played some great footy in between those f**k ups at times, but it was a really weird game of footy

This performance was coming and you're right, we're just lucky the Dragons are horrendous and let us get away with it. I said it earlier in the year, you don't win premierships with a front row combination of Blair and Sims.

No doubt our issue (other than the fact that we just conceded 50) is our front row, they don't bend the line like you top class props do, they're hard working and run all night but there's no impact there, tonight we sorely missed Pangai and Ofengoaogue (nailed the spelling), as they provide impact off the bench

It was a terrible game. The Broncos were shit from the opening whistle and we stopped playing five minutes into the second half.

I don't think it was terrible. It was open and entertaining, both sides wanted to play footy when they had possession. Would have been a much more reflective scoreline without the 10-2 count, Brissie scored a few tries off bizarre calls.
