Realistically I don't see anyone beating the Storm this year.

And I'm not going to read too much into that game as an Eels fan. Brisbane looked drunk half the time and handed us more than a few opportunities. Yeah we played some great footy in between those f**k ups at times, but it was a really weird game of footy
Twilight Zone game of the year.Watch it on replay and you'll have different try scorers.

Wouldn't put too much emphesis on a game which in all intents and purposes, doesn't do Brisbane any real damage.

Actually the game could end up costing them a tonne.

The teams chasing them are the sharks, roosters, and Eels. They play the Knights, Titans, and Souths respectively next week. All would be heavy favourites to notch up a win.

Conversely, the Broncos play the Cowboys in Townsville.

A loss next week for the broncos all but assures they will drop down to 5th (assuming the Sharks notch up yet another victory over Easts this weekend, which is quite likely given we are their f**king bunnies)

Getting the penalty count in your favour, your opposition having 3+ players out of their starting 17, and have 50+ put on you two weeks away from the finals doesn't do any real damage?

Being a Tigers man Iam not so sad to see the end of gutter scum Moses even though he is playing pretty good football at Parra, but for the life of me I don't know how my club let Brown walk out the door. I always thought he had a great defensive technique but last night he was dangerous when ever he touched the ball and had a really good foot work.

I know its only one game but Parra showed last night they can match or better most teams in the physical department and have the attack to worry most sides

Both teams scored a lot of soft tries. BA was pissed about that performance for good reason.

Worst performance by a team this year easily.

Now watch the Broncos go and win a premiership.
No team that has conceded 50 points has won the premiership, I think they'll be better but even if they manage to make the GF against the Storm, Storm will thump them.

I think they will at least end up making it to the semi finals and am still pretty confident that they can take out the title.

I get the feeling the Storm might choke.

The '50 point curse' has been going since 1908, it would be typical of those rebels The Broncos to disrespect it and end up winning the comp anyway somehow, a bit like the Cowboys in 2015 became the first team to win the comp after starting a season 0 and 3.. still I think that if Melbourne gets to the GF they aren't going to mess it up two years in a row, so someone would have to beat them earlier. That and the Broncos have a poor record against the Storm over the past 10 years, it's most likely not them to spoil the Storm's party.

Brown was nowhere near the footballer he is this year in 2016 at the Rabbits, let alone when he was still at the Tigers.... It'd be like us Eels fans lamenting letting James Maloney go all those years ago... Nobody gave a shit at the time. I stand to be corrected but I don't think there were too many Tigers fans slashing their wrists when Brown up and moved to the Bunnies.
