Crowd in Perth looks great. Definitely a more positive vibe this year. Opening week crowds look pretty good. Expecting Titans to be a bit of a let down and Tigers could have been better against another Sydney team. But off too a good start I would say.

The other positive about this trip to Perth is that both games have had a lot of attacking flair so far with line breaks etc. Could have been a grind with Melbourne's wrestle and Bulldogs lack of scoring nous last year.

Hopefully helps create a few new fans. Pity there is no Perth team on the near horizon.

Just making an observation, but for a State that isn't supposed to have much interest in RL, why couldn't they generate this much interest in the RLWC..
Because in states where RL is dominant they couldn't generate interest in the RLWC. I mean the major ad campaign was "you have no idea who any of these players are".

Just back. Great event. Stadium is a beauty. Public transport spot on. Crowd smashed the Perth rugby league record out of the ground.
Two decent games, crowd stayed for pretty much all of it. Greenberg walking around grinning like a Cheshire Cat. All in all a great nrl experience for Perth. Only down side is we have to wait another 14 months before we see rugby league at this level again!

Great crowd for the double header. Great to see the NRL embracing Perth. The stadium there is beauty, loved the light show every time there was a try. Sell out crowd at Penrith tomorrow, very successful opening to the season attendance wise.
