Looks a big crowd in Melbourne.

I agree with others that big crowds make it more exciting and create more big crowds. We're off to a great start this year, good times ahead hopefully.

This is why you don't assume any game is going to get 20K+. Also as per always your best just to take off 10-20% of any crowd predictions and that usually gets you closer to the mark.

Both crowds today were decent but it sucks constantly having crowds be overhyped.

It would be good to have comparisons with previous years for the same matchups though. The warriors crowd was well up on last year and the panthers was their best ever against Souths (according to the above poster). Neither crowd was massive but it's always good seeing improvement.

I remember our 2015 march home game v cowboys, at 9:30pm the temperature was 31.5 with 85+% humidity. Feels like temp was over 37. Dew point oppressive, over 24.5. We got 40,100 approx and were slaughtered on here.

Round one 2015 v bunnies was just as bad if not worse.

I completely understand why Penrith fans stayed away.

Early weather forecast for Sydney next week is not good. Raining Friday.
Dogs 6pm @Anz will be sub 8K with rain around. Not sure about Tigers @ Campbelltown. If the weather isn’t too bad could be a half decent turnout.

Hopefully tigers fans start coming out in force. It's been a long time since the club had this much to be positive about.

1st proper tigers home game of the year after 2 impressive wins should have the fans streaming through the gates

I’d say 17k in perfect conditions at Campbeltown

But add in the usual disappointment factor in nrl crowds and it’ll probably be more around the 14-15k mark

Will depend on weather. If the weather is great there will be a bumper crowd IMO but throw if the rain forecast comes true who knows.
