Um? Might get people interesting in going. Let me put it another way - would the nrl rather sell a ticket for $2 2hrs before a game or leave the seat empty

That’s not going to happen though. Something like stub hub would have a fee, the person selling their ticket is going to want more than $2 to go to the effort of registering and then putting the ticket up each time.
Tickets aren’t expensive to start with for the vast majority of games.
