How many more years will commentators make excuses for Shaun Johnson? It's not that he's been shit tonight according to Bwaiff and Finchy, it's the forwards and the Penrith defence and David Fusitua's fault
All he did was catch and pass, put up shit bombs that nobody chased and fall off simple tackles. For the first 60 odd minutes I actually thought it was Mitchell Moses out there

Well done Panthers, their halves were class tonight and put in a quality finals performance. I think they'll have to improve to beat either Easts or Sharks but that was a training run compared to last night and what we're probably about to watch so they'll be nicely rested.

Less said about the Warriors the better.

Goddamn that was a disappointing performance from the warriors. Losing RTS was obviously massive but the effort was very ordinary.

Hard to gauge where Penrith are at. They did what they needed to do against a poor warriors team. Will probably need to improve next week but they have shown this year that their ceiling can be pretty high.

There's SJ on a dry day game and there's SJ on a skiddy night field.
Both different players. Both with different confidence.

Gotta feel for Kearney, at least he seemed to bring about some much needed structure this year.

As many years as they refuse to highlight Dane Gagai's inability to make a tackle. Or score more than a couple tries a season.

Good season Warriors. Hope you can do even better next year.

Losing RTS didn't help, but the game had turned by then anyway. Hiku did pretty well. Kata is big and strong but built a bit low to the ground for a centre.

Thing is,even if we win the next two games, the are ppl who choose not to be convinced that we are a good side. What we were earlier in the year,is what we are now.

If only ppl would show confidence in tipping the Panthers instead of having some trivial hang-up.

To be fair they seem to almost totally ignore Gagai for much of the regular season, as most rugby league fans, players and coaches do

Considering Warriors were Top 4 most the year this has been a epic fail

RTS is a great player but the way they went to water after he went off was horrendous. Massive choke by a team more than capable of beating any team. Penrith didn't play that great either.

The persistence with the short kicks was mind-boggling. They got 1 from 5 off that greay tactic, or something crap like that.
