Blake Green coming back will give Warriors a little more structure overall and freedom for SJ you'd have to think. Both teams are strong across the park and even in Sydney, NZ will get plenty of support. It'll probably go down to a field goal but can't call it.

Won all 3 of the last 3 week 1 finals going back to 2014.

Not that it means anything this year.

There are 2 survivors from the 2014 week 1 final (Mansour and DWZ), 8 from 2016 and 13 from last year. Plus Maloney is a finals regular. The Warriors have not made the finals since 2011. This should put the home side at a distinct advantage in what is likely to be a desperate struggle.

You dont think recent and/or regular finals experience in a finals match could be helpful?

Mansour and DWZ are playing their 4th finals series in 5 years.
Cleary, Peachey, Maloney, Tamou, Merrin, Yeo and RCG are playing their 3rd finals series in a row.

For a young team they have alot of finals experience. It guarantees nothing. But it's definitely an advantage. Warriors do have big game experience in tests though obviously.

Certainly not a “distinct advantage” nor a “definite advantage”

Core warriors group have a heap of grand finals plus big test match tourney experience like four nations and World Cup finals...Luke green Johnson rts (the whole spine) Blair Harris mannering in the forwards...

Haven't seen anyone tipping us for this, not all that surprising really although last game was a big improvement. Only the bookies love us, we haven't moved from $1.71 all week. Thought it might tighten up on weight of money on the Warriors.

The weight of the money pool will change drastically especially on the back end of a racing day, which is a good day for the punters this Saturday. So punters habitually put their bet(s) on for the rest of the weekend before they go home,or stay and watch the two great games at the pub/club.

The way it will swing is if there is a change in the weather,or someone gets injured in the captain's run,or the warm-up.

Here hoping both named line-ups take the field in which I'm confident that this will be the match of the round. :)

RTS Grand final winner
Mannering Grand Final
Shaun Johnson Grand Final
Adam Blair Grand final winner
Isaac Luke Finalist
Blake Green Grand Final winner
Tohu Harris Grand final winner
Gerard Beale Grand winner.

Simon Mannering and RTS havd been cleared to play.

The closer this game gets, with our full strength line up....the more confident I feel.

Is it the same for you Panthers blokes ? Hows ths nerves Penrith bretheren ?
Close call aint it ?

I'll be upset if we lose because it's essentially a wasted year after what looked a promising year mid season but if we do lose then at least it would be to a team I don't mind too much in the Warriors. I'm not real confident of them going far in the finals but I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

I have next to no confidence in this as a Penrith fan to be honest.
