The horror! I'm so glad they changed their logo back after a couple of misstepsAs an Eels supporter this was up there with the worst logos. It would more suit the kids range at Best & Less

With a logo like that I'm wondering why they couldn't wrestle Newcastle away from the Knights. It vexes me.
Nope.
What, like this? Vom...i think the NRL should implement a rule that the team logo needs to be bigger than the sponsorship logo.
That club no longer exists.Seemed to plenty of redV and white jumpers in the 41000plus crowd today ? So the history of a club does not matter!?
That club no longer exists.
Has this heritage jersey become Warriors permanent away jersey?
They seem to be wearing if often now. I reckon it looks great
And I refer to Sydney Roosters as Easts.I think you will find just like people refer to Manly Warringah as Manly and Cronulla Sutherland as Cronulla, people refer to St George Illawarra as St George. It's just quicker. Hope you get that!

But I always feel that the dragons bang on and on about the red V and pay no respect to the Illawarra side of the merger (or joint venture as they’re apparently very different).
Didn’t their away gear get knocked off?Has this heritage jersey become Warriors permanent away jersey?

Didn’t their away gear get knocked off?
Yes but was found. I imagine they just wanted to wear something less boring than their away jersey yesterday given the other three clubs playing had specialised jerseysDidn’t their away gear get knocked off?
Particularly considering the Illawarra was dragons territory until the 60sI'm the same with the Roosters too. I think the core of the club is very aware of the Illawarra connection importance both historically and logistically, and I think the Illawarra part understand the enormous historical advantage associated with St George. If ever their was a merger to work it's this one!
I disagree! Cronulla Sutherland and Manly Warringah are seared in the psyche of the nation!I think you will find just like people refer to Manly Warringah as Manly and Cronulla Sutherland as Cronulla, people refer to St George Illawarra as St George. It's just quicker. Hope you get that!
Absolutely!I disagree! Cronulla Sutherland and Manly Warringah are seared in the psyche of the nation!
Maybe they shouldn't have made a boring away jersey then.Yes but was found. I imagine they just wanted to wear something less boring than their away jersey yesterday given the other three clubs playing had specialised jerseys

And just to add to that, for a club with so many designs, how could they not have an aNZac jersey..particularly considering they play on the actual day! It’s funny, the Warriors are famous for having so many different crazy designs, so many colour combinations, so many themes. And yet their away jerseys ever since they went black and white have been universally boring.
I’d rather they stick to a home jersey (Black is fine with me) and then use the away jersey as a chance to express themselves. I’ve loved some of their 9’s, Auckland heritage and Maori heritage jerseys. Would make great away jerseys
