But I thought RL brands were seared in to the Australian psyche? You can’t have it both ways.

Once again wrong context! The Aussie brands are within the Aissue sports psyche. As that is where the game is recognised. Unfortunately the code doesn't have the reach and unfettered exposure of soccer. Simple as that. If soccer had a code (and a code with influence (RU) trying to kill it , I'm sure things would be different for that code as well. But fortunately for that code which I do appreciate it has had a free run unlike rugby league.

So you suggest they are not seared in to the Australian psyche, hence why you want their branding to be reinforced.
Im just trying to work out what your argument is exactly. It seems like you just don't like the change shirts and are coming out with anything you can think of to justify it. All you need to do is say you don't like it, thats perfectly reasonable.
What we don't need is to hear stories about newspaper editors in pubs that cant read.

What I'm stating is reasonable and pub talk is generally the talk of the people at-large. So I think it's relevant ! You don't. I've already forwarded my pointerest of view. If you can't interpret that then it's your issue not mine.

It's an advantage to have jerseys ingrained in the sports public psyche. For instance the red V of the Dragons is a case in point. Probably the most recognisable jumper in the league due to the club's famous 11 year winning streak.Such jumper styles are gold for marketing purposes. Hope you get it!

One sport (soccer equals international context) The other rugby league (Australia wide significance ) Do I need to spell it out for you? One sport has been repressed internationally and the other not repressed . I'll leave you to work that out! You won't get it. :relaxed:

That streak finished 52 years ago.

As an Eels supporter this was up there with the worst logos. It would more suit the kids range at Best & Less
