That Warriors heritage jersey is f**king naff. I get the explanation of each element, and the chosen elements are pretty cool but when you turn it into a cartoon jersey, well, it’s ended up looking rubbish.

Looks like something you’d buy at those cheap ass tobacco nick nack shops that have shirts and pics with howling wolves and dream catchers hanging on the walls.

Compared to shitter beer, it was good.
I haven’t had DB Bitter since the mid-late 90’s, I’m not even sure it’s around. It’s much better than Lion Red
When I was in Auckland in 2011 I couldn't find it... so I ended up drinking Lion Red

When Warriors first entered the comp, they released DB to Liquorland, and if you bought a case you got a free schooner glass.

The cans had the same picture on them

Do you mean indigenous? The heritage jersey is a fairly basic design?

View attachment 16621 That Warriors heritage jersey is based on the 1995/96 white away jersey

The 2018 heritage jersey is a good design, BUT if they really wanted to pay homage to the 1995/6 away jersey, couldn't they have copied the original design a little more closely?

They've done heritage versions of the 1995/6 home jersey that are close to the mark, surely it's not hard to do the same thing in white instead of blue.

Their explanation covers it, it's not supposed to be a copy of the original but a modern twist.

Warriors jerseys in 1995/6 were manufactured by Canterbury which just happens to the the same jersey manufacturer for 2018, so there is no reason why they couldn’t

Yep Mal said that and widely reported but debunked by Middo!

Maybe 3rd from the current crop of players? And why was it only in the first half? Cronk wore a normal number 7 in the second half. There is something a bit strange going on at the moment. Mal's approach to coaching the Kangaroos is becoming very similar to Ange Postecoglu....a bit of an us vs them attitiude/mentality coming from the roos camp ("them" being the loyal Aussie supporters). I've noticed a bit of arrogance creeping in. Just my opinion anyway.

I saw something on Twitter about players in big games like a final changing jerseys at HT so they can swap theirs at FT and still have one from the game as a memento

But prematch before kick-off they were thanking the fans for coming to games, supporting etc etc.

I don't think there is a wedge at all. Moreso, I think Meninga is getting them back in touch with fans from my personal experiences.
