30 year old national company with history of supporting V8's. Sounds a decent enough sponsor. How many NRL clubs have blue chip multi national sponsors?
Well it seems you answered yourself a mere 10mins later. Cheers for doing the work for me.......
haha yes thought Id take a look. Its a bit hard to judge as some sponsors that may look blue chip are in fact just local franchises rather than the main company ie Toyota for Cowboys
Yeah well the NQ Toyota network is about 10 dealerships strong and Toyota Oz is also now involved with the NQ sponsorship.
I know its not up there with the prestige of the Eels aircon company sleeve sponsor though..... or a chinzy second hand shop business like Cash Converters........
FMD.
Whether it's the local dealer or the corporate head office, it's the Toyota logo on the front. Splitting hairs over where the money's from is you being your usual idiotic self.just to play the game lol
Cash Convertors, ASX multi national company with 700 franchised stores in 21 countries, $270mill revenue. Of interest is that the founder used to play for Newtown, he opened up his first store in perth when he retired from the Jets in 1984. hence the support for RL in WA.
ps I wasn't knocking Cowboys sponsorship, end of day if they are paying the right amount of money it really doesn't matter if it is Price Waterhouse or Fred's chippy sponsoring. Just pointing out that on the surface what may look like a blue chip sponsor is in fact a local business.
