Though to my defence, I’m 99% sure this is the first time where you can pick any game you want from the whole 12 available. They’ve offered 2-3 game memberships from memory but nothing like this before.

f**kers could have released them yesterday and saved me looking like an assclown. Well, an even bigger one........

I think its a good way to get fans into a membership mentality, better than non ticketed memberships in many ways. Sure it inflates membership tallies but seeing as we have no idea of the break down of membership totals it doesn't really matter. End of day all that matters in that memberships are generating enough revenue to make clubs sustainable. We have seen they have little reflection on attendances in many cases.

Agree! I don’t have a problem with either non-ticketed or 1 game memberships. Any money is good money for clubs. Hopefully they can turn One game memberships into season memberships within the year. That’s the trick

I'd suggest the Knights membership may be taking a sharp rise this season! Got some value deals that despite draw anomalies will attract the general punters. I know I won't buy a membership unless I can attend plenty of Saturday games. That's the main reason for me(user friendly game times)plus it being top flight rugby league.

Think the Knights fans have plenty to look forward to this year after a few pretty lean years. Did a day trip up to Newie in 2016 the day the Sharks beat them 64-0. Got to give it to the Newie di-hards....they pretty much all stayed for the duration to support their struggling side. Shark Park would be empty at half-time if we were getting hammered like that.

Folks - reminder to quote your source for membership figures. It is not a difficult thing to do to copy and paste the URL of the page where you get the figure.

Not very tech savvy Timmah but if you go to the Sharks website....Click on membership then click on membership packages it shows you the updated counter.

Looks like I need to get back in my box and shut up.

Cowboys emailed out the availability of single home game memberships today...........
Personally I'm not a fan of it, but if pet memberships and other bs are counted as memberships then so be it.

Unfortunately that entire season went along those lines. I was at every home game that year, it's amazing how you can be walking in to the ground somehow finding optimism every game.

That game is probably the worst I have felt about the Knights since '88. Literally every time Cronulla got the ball they were doing whatever they wanted. Scoring at will with no resistance.

After another of the embarrassing smashings of that year Mickey Paea came down to the fences after the game and was pretty dejected. Having a chat to him briefly he thanks me for coming and I told him we'd never give up on the Knights.

We never will. Season tickets for the fam already arranged again for this season. Looking forward to it, whatever comes.

And the score was 62-0.

I know the feeling.

NQ in their first 7-8 years were f**king abysmal. It wasn’t until Muzz came along and got an offseason with them that you could actually see them improved signifigantly enough to be competitive. Those first 3 years we averaged something like 20k a game and we’d only won about 10 games all up in those 3 years (2 wooden spoins as well).

The first decade for NQ was extremely character building.....

Sorry champ....didn't mean to dud you 2 points.....Remember Gagai scored in the last minute but went to video and was disallowed. Walked out of there slightly gutted for Newcastle fans....strange feeling. All the best for better times in '18.

Thanks, should be a good year, and a better year after.

I was there for the '97 GF and 2001 also. Those memories keep you going. I feel sorry for the fans that have come along after and don't have those types of memories to fall back on.

I recall my young bloke after that Cronulla game turning to me in several games saying if the score reaches 60 dad, were leaving. 7yo at the time, No son, we will be staying to the end.

The only way is up from here. :D
