I lowered my membership commitment from the away ticketed to just the away. I fly up from Brissy 3-4 times a season and I’ll just get my own tix for the Broncs/Tits away games. The away ticketed membership used to include 2 away tickets but now only one so IMO not worth it. Not whinging about it, I know for a while there they were losing money on some of the away memberships because of the merch and the 2 game tickets (depending on the away game picked by the member)

Side note, I ordered a membership for me and my old girl with both having the $30 online voucher at the leaguesy merch shop instead of the chinchy merch pack.

Mine arrived a week ago, old girls is no where to be seen.

Mine arrived without the $30 voucher......

Cowbs membership team killing it...........
Sounds like situation normal!!

Big movements from Brisbane and the Dogs over the last week.

Most importantly we're now ~13k clear of the same time last year. Year before at the same time we were sitting at 173k so plenty of positive trends coming out of this.

Numbers still quite worrying @ Warriors and Titans but I guess to be expected after the last year or two.

Great to see we're arguing about 2017 numbers in a 2018 membership thread lol

Promising signs so far. As we get higher and higher growth becomes even harder to come by. If we see a 10K+ growth this year I'd be happy with that.

There are a few disappointing numbers. The Titans are worrying but that's hardly surprising, there hasn't been much to be excited about there for a few years now. The warriors I think is due to general dissatisfaction with NZRL on top of the warriors. Yet again they have a promising team for 2018 but it's hard to expect much from them. Maybe a few early wins might get people on board?

The cowboys are the most disappointing IMO. Runner up last year and basically the favourite this year. At the moment they're flat with last year, hopefully they see at least some growth as there is so much potential and excitement around the club. It's a shame that the new stadium is 2 years away. Hopefully they're near the top of the ladder then because they're poised to see some big growth in crowds and memberships.

I think the Grand Final appearance so soon after the 2015 premiership maybe fatigued fans a little, particularly given it was a minor miracle they got there from the bottom of the 8.

Parra, Wests, Melbourne and Knights have the most room for improvement imo. Considering they all have a decent season which is likely for atleast Parra and Storm

Think once Parra stadium is up and running.Numbers will jump even further for not only the Eels, but other clubs who use it for a couple of games whilst ANZ is rebuilt.
The team with number potential increase is the Dogs.If they can get their act together. They had nearly 21,000 circa 2016.

Not arguing, just good record keeping
Good record keeping will be updating them *all* when the NRL releases the audited figures in their annual report in the next couple of weeks.

Yeah that and also what others were saying.
Cows membership department have been really slack, lots of errors and mistakes and changes.
I expect though as the season nears those numbers will get better (hopefully).

You'd certainly hope so. That said the figures weren't *great* this time last year and they still cruised to 22k.

Another update coming tomorrow.

The full suite of cowboys memberships weren’t even available until early Jan, only full ticketed memberships available first, everyone else had to wait for the other versions. Pretty average IMO.

Side note, Broncos doing their best to garnish their membership numbers yet again with the ‘derby deal’. Get early bird tickets to the rd2 game and all of a sudden you’re now considered a Broncos member........ they’ve done this a few years in a row now, cheeky f$&@s.

There’s plenty of one game memberships on offer at other clubs

Brisbanes biggest game of the year is the NQ game. They aren’t offering (from what I can see) any other single home game memberships so why only that game????

I’ve said it a few times, it’s smart on their behalf. They are not as covert as they used to be, it’s pretty obvious now it’s a broncos initiative. A few years ago it was only advertised as a ‘derby deal’ on ticketek social media and the ticketek website. It wasn’t obvious that it was a membership of sorts, it wasn’t until I got 10 broncos fridge magnets in the mail with my 10 tickets that it clicked that 5 years ago it was actually a form of membership. The phone call I recieved from their membership
Team a few weeks later was pretty awkward.

‘Hi im such and such from the Broncos membership team and I......’

Me- ‘stop, right now...........’

I know a heap of cowboys fans back the that bought the early bird ‘derby deal’ to ensure they had somewhat halfway decent tickets to the game at Suncorp not realising they were signing themselves up for a Broncos membership.
