Asquith are playing a trial against the Windsor Wolves on Saturday - 3pm at The Kingsway Fields at Werrington.

They'll field a mostly 2nd-string side with the game only announced very late in the week.

Yep, looking at NSWRLRA I can't see any officially sanctioned trials. Hopefully a draw is forthcoming in the next few days

East Campbelltown, Belrose and Hills are playing in the Coogee 9's on Saturday - could be some SS players on show.

Can't get the link to post but Wyong will cease playing in the ISP at end of 2018 season. Hugely disappointing for a relationship that seemed to be working well. leaves a missing and important link from juniors to NRL on the coast and not sure what the roosters will do now for reserves, maybe they can put a roosters side out of gosford to maintain the CC link of they are serious about the region.

Woy Woy would be a more serious link. Or they can build up from the CCR ball and matts sides

Jeco Makatoa, who left CBGW to join Moss Vale in Group 6, has now taken on the coaching role following the passing of Steve Folkes.

I was told the Sydney teams aren’t taking this seriously so I wouldn’t take to much notice of the results

yep thats right and they’re not taking it seriously

Maybe clubs will only be as serious as they treat trials in any other season, although those that go through to the NSW Challenge Cup have the opportunity to win $15,000 if prize money is the same as last year.

But given that only 3 teams miss the finals, clubs don't have to take anything seriously until about August.

Extraordinarily sweeping statement to make on behalf of some 10 clubs lol
OK champ.
Lets which blokes from each club play in the “challenge cup”. And if they’re the same blokes who play the majority of the season in RMC for the respective clubs.
For example I’m expecting st marys for example to use SS players and others from cloyton a grade to play in their rmc challenge team.

It is a pity that the NSWRL chose not to publish the Challenge Cup teams in their LIVE system. this would have indicated the strength of the teams being put on the field.
