You’ll see a shift before game day.

With gagai potentially our also it would mean the final QLD side won’t be known to the general public until game day.

This will likely see odds settle to a more even field.

I dunno. It’s only a bit over 24 hours until kickoff. I can’t see the odds changing much at this point. There would have to be a stack of late money on QLD for that to happen. I suppose it’s possible at $3.

QLDer logic:

If NSW beat QLD it'll be because of an injury crisis.

If QLD beat NSW it'll be because they have more passion
That old chestnut has never really worked on Freddy. In recent times in City v Country his sides have often turned up and played with a bit more passion when City apparently dont have any and have outgunned sides much better on paper.

Not the same but I would be surprised if NSW don't play with a lot of passion.

why isn't it f**king wednesday yet

Feels that way.

It’s great to have the anticipation back. Take nothing away from QLD’s dominance over the years but for me the biggest drawback was that NSW and to a lesser extent QLD didn’t pick players who deserved a shot on form and such. Made for the same rudderless shit each year.

There are a number of players in both camps this series that should have had a run years earlier. I’m glad both coaches reignited the arena with plenty of talented footballers.

Can’t wait.

More excited for this game than any in a long time. Can't wait.

Also Freddy played in the days when the blues actually used to win a fair bit so he’ll bring that with him.

Freddie: "we're going to win this boys"

Team: "is that possible even possible?"

Freddie: "gather round boys and I'm going to tell you a tale about a time of myth and legend. A story of the time before 2006"

Team: "entire team oohs and aahs simultaneously staring at Freddy with burning anticipation"

Game is scheduled to start at 755 pm.

I'm tipping it to start at 809

Am on Thursday

So less ads this year?

The betting on this is just getting stupid now. Qld $3 NSW $1.40

I’d be loading up on that $3 were I not a blues fan. No way the Blues are a $1.40 chance. Some of the new selections look good on paper but could go either way. Some of the backs are not exactly known for their defence.
Do the bookies know something the rest of us don't?

I'm putting $100 @ $3.00 on the Qld side...( and if I remember,I'm going to give my 10,pick the score predictions 5 mins before K.O.) .

The NSW side need a solid run together to be fully prepared to take on the Qlders. NSW will be underdone as far as defensive and attacking combinations are concerned. NSW's attack will be clunky in the 1st half, and will end up chasing points late in the 2nd half.

Blues can say goodbye to the series if they lose tomorrow night.
