Game 1 last year was better. He benefitted from Queensland's reluctance to tackle him. But well deserved MOTM. Can he produce another such performance next game, that is the question.

To be honest I thought NSW played pretty well. One thing for sure was that Morgan at fullback was a failure. He looked like an out of form half thrown into fullback.

That can't be anything near their best considering Maloney gifted QLD 12 points and 11 players made their debut.

Good enough to win but a shit load they can improve on.

QLD trained with morgan at FB and Inglis at LC while Slater was healing up for injury, expecting him to be ready by game time.

the game was lost by QLD through errors. NSW punished them on the subsequent possessions. good pressure by QLD though. some brain farts and execution issues hurt them. they can still bounce back in game 2
