In a hard fought forward tussle like that,the two teams 1/2's wern't going to dominate. Everyone was full of beans,and anything moving was smashed early on. Both teams played it smart and waited for the second half. And we all know how much of a team can benefit when they simply wait and bide their time.

Sure there were players who messed up along the way through a gruelling 80 minutes of the hardest team sport in the world. Mistakes in a game at that speed are going to happen,as they did. As for Cordner,he had an indifferent first 20 odd minutes. But boy did he step up in the 2nd half when their team needed inspiration from their captain. I havent watched the game on replay yet,but I'm sure that golden period from when we went on the rampage,was on the back of some solid Cordner runs.
