Why do people care so much about the design of our jerseys? It seems like such a subjective thing that you will struggle to keep everyone happy regardless of what you choose.

As long as they run out in something that has some blue and gold in it then I'm fine with whatever the club decides.

I care because I'd possibly like to buy one.

Would have happily forked out some cash for some of those mock-ups this Jamesy bloke did.

As it stands, I may still end up getting one of the official jerseys next year. I may get used to them after a while and think they're not too bad after all.

I will make an exception for an ugly jersey if we win a gf in one. Almost had to get one of those 2001 shockers. So glad I didn't have to.

Exactly. Not liking the jersey doesn't mean we don't support the club. If we happen to win the title next year that jersey will forever evoke fond memories. Even though I'll still know it's bad.

And if the club really has reached out to Jamesy so soon after releasing a new jersey it suggests that this one has been particularly poorly received.

Majority liked the modern 80s (86?) heritage jersey that we have used recently

But not when it was originally released.

Let's be honest. The real reason they chose the hooped design was because it was easy to incorporate any sponsor in the space between the gold hoops.

I think most people associate the four stripes with Parramatta, yet they had to be moved higher in the last jersey design in order to fit the sponsor logo in. Otherwise there wasn't enough gold ( errr yellow ) showing.
