Interesting to note that in the Kennar article, Richo has said they see him as a winger in the 17.....Interesting.

I haven't been reading/listening to all the articles and things as I want action not words......

Just on Kennar I hope he can be similar to an Auva'a type player..... like with quite a big engine.......... I get the feeling Kennar may be good with the shit work coming out of trouble....

Yea I haven't seen him play much but he does seem like that kind of player as he's pretty big.

I hope he gets a go starting on the wing against Wigan...
Yeah same.

I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of guys play in that game.

Normally in NZ, we only get the Charity Shield televised but this year I think both Trials will be televised so that's awesome.

I dunno about the Charity Shield if it'll be on FOX as it's in the country.........

Bit of a remote area like just a town is Mudgee....

It should be there as the Charity Shield is always televised and they've had City Country televised from there.

We'll see.

Get to know Mawene Hiroti: https://www.rabbitohs.com.au/news/2018/01/07/get-to-know-mawene-hiroti/

Man, I hope we get to see Hiroti make his debut sometime this year. To see another guy from my hometown play for my club would be so awesome. If we don't see him this year, I think we certainly will in 2019.

Far more fluff than usual being produced by our media department this year.

Guess they're getting the article quota in before the season starts and we're getting flogged every week.

There's that optimism we've all been missing

Every year, people forget about the previous year as soon as preseason rolls around. The rose colored glasses come out and everything is fine and dandy again. Same thing has happened for as long as Rugby League had been played seriously in this country.

Fact is, we do not have the cattle to compete with the big guns in this competition. The likes of the Cowboys, Roosters and Storm would all be looking at their games against us as +2 points. To be perfectly honest we don't even have the cattle to compete with the medium sized guns in the competition.

We will finish comfortably nestled in the bottom four.
