The same bloke who gave Moretti his debut, along with dozens of other NRL players. Arthur also wasn't the one who debuted Murchie or Momoisea. They had already been picked in the NRL by other coaches. Merkins acting like we're the only club that gave opportunities to nuffies. Eels legends Luke Kelly and Isaac Lumelume both got their debuts under Bellamy.Starts with B ends with D
Jarryd HaynehMaybe it starts with J ends with H.
This is true, but what is also true is what TCT often point out that some players just have a pre-season written into their contracts.100% !
Both AMS and EM are training with the NRL side by looking at pics and vids though.
100% with EM. He is toast if he doesn’t do something pretty quick. His knee injury certainly set him back. This year will be the make or break year for him I think same as Martyn.
I'm a f**king moron, no doubt. Just not enough of a moron to look at our club in isolation and cherry pick every little thing as a sign of mismanagement. So wise
BingoBald????
The current management have only been there since 2019. Only three clubs have won the comp since then. But more importantly, how many clubs have gone broke? None of them.To assume mismanagement with the parramattas eels is hardly moronic, it's completely rational.
You love stats and figures, the parramatta eels haven't won a comp since 1986.....
To assume they aren't mismanaged just doesn't line up with the facts.

He runs pretty quick.
Whilst I'm a fan of Ethyn, I think he came back to league too late and he's very injury prone. If he sticks to it there's no reason why he can't make it but he'll have to decide whether it's worth it to work a job whilst also chasing that first grade dream
I'm a f**king moron, no doubt.
What we need is a massive f**ken loan from James Packer.the parramatta eels havent gone broke..... thats what the best clubs do....
I hate to shitcan Ethyn Martin, but he is well behind his peers for the level of his development. As an example, he is the same age as Sean Russell. Hopefully he turns out to be a late bloomer. But it’s quite rare for outside backs to debut this late and still become first graders. Rich Penisini’s trajectory is what a future first grader looks like, even with the knee injury.
The reason their age matters is because the majority of their physical development occurs early in their career. Dudes need to be in a high performance system by their mid teens to maximise their strength and power. If they wait until they are 19 or 20, they will never catch up to where they could've been. That's why their age matters. These are generalisations, and the example cutoffs I've used are to illustrate a point. The earlier they start training like pros, the more likely they will be to reach professional performance levels. Yes genetics are also a major factor, and often the thing that prevents slower developers from getting picked in NRL pathways systems in the first place.Take his age out of it…EM didn’t have a traditional path to the NRL or Rugby League in general.
He floated between the two games his whole life between three countries and was impacted heavily during Covid period.
I like Richie as well and yes he is younger but the one half year playing Flegg together EM had him covered.
You just have to believe what you see with EM, he is still raw but the kid moves and finishes better than anyone we have in the club.
If he didn’t do his hammy I think he would have debuted last year anyways. He was going better than Mulitalo.
Samrani is 23 I believe already and will play first grade this season.
Facts and figures will tell you that he probably is up against it to make it but just don’t right him off.
Ryan Morgan got to 94 plus another 71 in the UK so it's not out of the question. I have'nt seen Ethyn play so I'll have to rely on the opinions of others. The reason their age matters is because the majority of their physical development occurs early in their career. I wouldn't be surprised if Martin played a few NRL games in his career, but I will be surprised if he gets to 100.
Go with the opinions of the merkins who give him contracts and promotions, and all the merkins who could’ve, but didn’t.Ryan Morgan got to 94 plus another 71 in the UK so it's not out of the question. I have'nt seen Ethyn play so I'll have to rely on the opinions of others.
