This is the pre-season thread mate. Why splinter the conversation?
Discuss it where you want man but R20 has created a thread talking specifically about that game.

This thread is more about actual Pre-Season training and what the boys are up to.

Anyway, I was scrolling through YouTube and came across some videos that were really good.

Here’s a question for the forum. Is turner a certainty for round 1? Apparently there’s a few bolters at training who are gunning for that last prop spot. These players being Vincent Leuluai, Junior Tatola and Nicholls. Or maybe one of the Burgess twins won’t make the cut come round 1. The trials will be very interesting.

If Leuluai is fit and firing he'd definitely be pushing Turner.

Dude is a sawn off little steamroller.

I'd say we'll go with Turner though as his mobility and work rate compliment George/Tom/Zane's games really well.

No, I don't think Turner is a certainty at all. In fact, none of those names you mentioned will be STID.

As I have said many times, trial form will decide imo, theres still a whole month to go before Round 1 and who knows what will happen?

I am personally leaning towards Turner but the spot is still wide open and that's the way it should be.

Bro I wouldn't have Turner or even Musgrove as shoe ins if they drop their level st training slightly..... even George.....

Being that his family is over in Perth I guess Musgrove will play though...

If George isn't up to it for example I know Seibs ain't afraid just like Madge wasn't too, to crack the whip.....

Don't write off Clarky either or Britt.....

The backs will be imtesting too:

Shoe ins:

GI
Gagai
AJ

The other 2 between:

Graham
Kennar
Jennings
Hunt
Burns
Arthars

I remember and interview the other week Burns said he expects to start off at Norths this season....

I'd say it's between Graham, Hunt, Kennar and Jennings. 2 out of those 4 will be there...

How would you know that when he hasn't picked a team yet? :joy:

A week or so ago you were criticising him for not being tough enough on them as a defensive coach. Why the sudden backflip?

So he's like Madge? You just said Madge was afraid to crack the whip
Stop nitpicking any little thing you can..........

You know what I meant.....

Both are of the same mould in that you work very hard and I feel Seibs is a bit of a disciplinarian too and both aren't afraid to make tough calls.......

I have also heard Madge is doing well in his referees job and is training them hard ......

You can't squeal and cry foul any time someone asks you a basic question about something you said. Grow up dude
