I think the roosters will step up a few levels from their recent matches and could blow the sharks away. If not the the wily old sharks could grind them out if it.

It’s either roosters or sharks for mine.

Calling Mr Cronk, time to step up Mr Cronk. This is the exact scenario you were brought in for. We have never had a trouble getting to this point, what we have had trouble with is going another gear in the finals and getting to the Grand Final so we shall see what type of return for investment we get.

It is no secret what the sharks will try and do, they will try and get us in the doldrums and grind away a result. If we do get out to a 10 point plus lead I don't think they run us down but equally it will be hard for us to run them down if they do the same.

The Sharks will want to tighten up defensively though on their last few performances which I expect they will. I don't think the winner will score more than 18 points.

I do think the loser is a far better chance of reaching the GF than the loser of the other QF.
Here is a conspiracy tin hat theory.

Cronk could turn out to be a perfect Trojan Horse for the Storm's ambitions. Let a player go to a club that is potentially a huge threat to the Storm's chances. Make it out that Croft and Smith are no longer sharing spit,to make it look plausible that Croft has severed all past buddy ties with the Storm. Then,in the finals,Croft takes the next step in screwing up Easts semis chances by being the MoM for the Sharkies. :)

To be continued...

With both teams at their best Chooks win easily. Hopefully we rid ourselves of our recent tendency to choke when it matters most. Sharks are the team I feared most playing as they do frustrate us.
Easts by 4.

Cooper Cronk is Wade Graham’s bitch. For Easts to win Keary will have to have the game of his life.

Yes and poor old Mr Cronk hates playing the Sharks because Wade Graham tends to bash him up, cuts his time down.

Mr Cronk would be feeling the pressure.

Graham certainly did a number on him when we played this year.

Why, Cronk was restricted ton only a couple try assists in an 18 point win. Who knows what it could have been without graham on the field?

Yeah this Graham/Cronk thing has been mentioned a couple of times. Not to sure what games they are thinking of and I don't really care as it wasn't the one and only game Cronk has played against him in roosters colours.

Graham’s utter dominance of Cronk is why NSW were so consistently successful in origin for all those years they lined up against each other......

The NRL has asked the referees to stay out so expect the Sharks to slow down the play the ball and wrestle the Roosters into submission.

If that doesn't work Gerard Sutton is main ref and we never win when he is in charge so expect the Sharks to be given every other opportunity to win.

The Roosters look good against the bottom teams but we have struggled against anyone good all year.

Even Souths with their entire back line missing almost beat us.

Well if we are going to beat anybody this year it would have to be at full strength wouldn't it? So much so Jesse Ramien doesn't get a start.
