A lowly Cowboys side that completed their sets at 97% btw. You do that and play a bit of razzle dazzle with the forward pack they have and I think our win was incredibly underrated.

The Cowboys decided to play their best game of the season by far against us (no surprises there) and they would have beaten almost any other side in the comp on the day imo.

I mean they were 33/33 set completions at one point. Ridiculous. So to beat any team that does that is a great win.

Shh

That doesn't fit the narrative of the roosters "barely beating a bottom 4 team"

Souths backline strength taking a hit

GI has been out , however now add Jennings , Douihe and latest rumour is that young winger Campbell will be out with a wrist injury

First time this year that I have to tip Roosters ( spew) as I cannot expect our forwards to do what they did to Storm last week again and more.........and this is what our forwards need to to to support our weaker backline.

ps if Souths do find a way to win this , then I cannot see the Roosters making the grand final this year......

Settle down.

Your absentees are matched by the loss of Keary who is crucial to our attack.

We lose so much in his absence.

GI and Keary cancel each other out... GI got you guys well and good in round 6...

So do you have four backline/halves players out or just 1?

You guys should win tomorrow night with who we have out....

Go wide and we won’t have enough to cover you if you guys attack half decently..

If the Rorters lose tomorrow if I supported them I would be very concerned...

We are $1.85 fav but get on the $2.00 on Rorters...

I just can’t bring myself to tip the scum against us...

Guess I’ll be losing a point in my tipping then...

You just did tip the Roosters in your previous post...
My head says scum but my heart always says Bunnies...

In my tipping comps I actually tipped us... thinking who’ll win and tipping is a different thing altogether..

But Rorters should win. The $2.00 was good value for punters..

Who cares who is out in your backline? Our forwards are rubbish remember? So you guys should win easily

That's because you have no idea of the intricacies and challenges of a 30 week season. I will be completely unconcerned if we lose this provided we put in (which I expect) and the squad comes through without any major injuries.

No GI wasn't the reason Souths won in Round 6. Keary is the central point of our attack, Inglis is not South centre of attack. If say Cook was out, then I would call it evens. We now have a backrower playing 5/8 that basically stuffs our attack and leaves us with no speed around the rucks. We just can't replace Keary. Inglis these days is replaceable.

Souths.
It'll be a close game but the edge is with Souths. They've been great, and seem to play as a cohesive unit (more often than not)
Roosters are leading the field on errors, ineffective tackles and handling errors, though they still sit 3rd on the ladder, which means they can still get the job done, and will most likely be a close game, even with Keary out.

Souths 22
Roosters 16

Awesome Friday night of footy! Putting my money on Warriors and Souths.

GOLLY,
Sad if Roosters think that Keary is a bigger loss than a GI is for Souths.
Keary played last time Souths comprehensively beat the Roosters.

Roosters key player is Lattrell..........they would have lost against the Cowboys except for his key plays.

KEary can be marked out of the game.......Lattrell just needs to get the ball with a little space.

Anyway , if Roosters cannot beat Souths tonight , then they can have a dozen Keary's added to their side , but they will still be making up the numbers in the finals.

Was KEary playing in 2017 for Roosters ? did they win the premiership..........rest my case. Souths lost GI first game of 2017 and had a crap season afterwards. rest my case.

I'm glad you rested your case. It was lacking in substance.
