Fair call.

Though last time you lost in Week 1 of the finals only to play a prelim in Sydney... ;)

The last time we lost in week 1 was 2015 ;) but yes the point stands.

I am more coming from the angle that if I were to finish 3rd or 4th this year I would rather play Melbourne week 1 than week 3.

Unfortunately I think we'll lose this, Keary is too big of a loss and I'm expecting Cook to destroy us through the middle again.

With no Keary I'll tip Souffs in a pretty irrelevant contest in the grand scheme of things.
Yeah for a roosters/souths game I feel pretty apathetic about this one and unless there is a flogging either way the result is pretty meaningless.

Getting through without any major injuries is the main concern at this point.
A game Rorters will likely lose = meaningless contest. I see.

On one hand, you have Souths who beat a team in the Storm last week. On the other hand you have Easts who narrowly beat a lowly side by only 6 points.

Will Souths be too battered after the Storm win? Will Easts be battered after a game with Nth Qld who had size in their forwards.

I'll go for a Souths win being that last weeks monumental effort, will inspire Souths to a repeat performance.

Souths by 4.

Kennar back on the wing for Souths and Hunt back to centre..

Richie had a strong start to the year before injury. He adds a lot yardage and energy to us coming out of trouble...

Souffs got lucky against lowly Parra only the week before, though.
