For me, it all depends on how we defend the Knights young halves and Ponga. If we get up quick and limit the halves time with ball, we should win. If we loiter around and let the halves get Ponga early ball he will carve our two centres up. Gagai is a rubbish defender and Inglis has the same sort of lateral movement and turning circle as the Queen Mary nowadays.

If Ponga gets time and space on either of our edges he will make us pay.

You just described Sione Mata'utia for us...at least Inglis has the excuse of being old.

I keep tipping against the Knights because of a combination of being used to them losing and they've had a fair bit go against them but they keep hanging in there and proving me wrong.

It's going to continue being really tough for a while adjusting without Pearce, and Souths are in good form but I give us a good shot at home where we're a much better side than we are away. Need to hope Gagai stays in the centres though because Brown knows his defensive issues better than anyone.
