It'd be extra special if we had Maguire as coach.

But seriously, what if Manly still want to take us to Perth too? Does the NRL and the Warriors have a say in how many times we'd go there in one season?

We can't go there more than once.

How come we never see the other teams, Roosters, Broncs,Storm etc play in Perth ?

Should just relocate the Warriors there..

Broncos have played a few games there in the past against souths. Jaral yow yeh broke his leg and ended his career there.

I can only see a few spots locked in for the top side next year. The rest is probably up for grabs based on pre season and trials.

1. RTS
2. Fusitua
3.
4.
5.
6. Hingano
7. Johnson
8.
9.
10.
11. Harris
12.
13. Mannering

Not even going to attempt to name a side until we've finished buying.
Mix says we are in the market, and I believe it.

It'll be a hard task, but possibly Round 1 is the best time for it. Always fancy the tougher games first, as we know there aren't any 'easy' games, but get the tough ones out the way early doors and hopefully catch someone who aren't prepared and truck on into the season.

New coach new players for the rabbits. Could really go either way. Maybe they click and towel us up maybe they have teething problems and we pull their pants down.

That's my preference too. I don't like the so-called easy games first up as there is more upsets in the first 4 rounds than any other time.
Recently when Newcastle got the spoon, around 2015/6, they got 4 of their wins in the first 4 rounds

The turnaround time better be 9 days, or we're starting the season off really badly. Huge haul over to Perth, f**king hot March conditions probably, back on the same gruelling flight. Hell, it could be an away game (is Perth our home game)? Guess we wait and see.

Don't mind it. If we are going to Perth, let's go in Round 1. Head over there a full week before the game.

Only a Saturday to Saturday turn around. Next is Titans in Auckland.

It's a terrible start to the season for me. Week's prep or however they choose to handle it. Perth is f**king hot in March, it's a massive trip. Yes the bodies aren't as sore in round one as they might be mid-season, but it's still arduous.

I know it's Souths' home game, but didn't Jim say this year we were over the idea of playing in Perth? Couldn't we have fought a bit harder not to be involved...

I know it's a long trip, but I hope that the club and players themselves use that as an excuse to turn it up straight away

Different sports I know, but the Breakers, most who are over 6'6" can hop on the plane and head over there and perform, and turnaround and come home again 5 days later and perform again. They've won a championship series over there at 3am NZ time under huge pressure so it shouldn't be regarded as an impossible task
