Totally agree, To be honest that was my biggest issue with Cleary (the coach) bringing back players too early from injury, only for them to re-injure themselves in their comeback game.

I prefer a coach whose more conservate in this area. Is Hook like that or not ?

We had Wallace playing busted while fit guys didnt play.

He took a punt on Edwards in finals.

I think all coaches are the same. If the medical staff give them a chance tgey pick them.

We've given up 2 14 point leads to start both games. We didnt fix our biggest issue. Being slow starters.

Weve gotten wins. But our form has hardly been impressive. I'll take 2 points any day. But you're delusional if you think we're playing well.

The reality is, not many teams are playing well.. Dragons who do appear to be playing well, also gave up 14 against the Sharks... Tigers defending great, but played a horrible Roosters side and a storm side that was terrible in attack...

Like you, i'll take the wins rather than the L...

This is the thing it's round 2. No one plays well this early

Sharks, Parra haven't won a game. 1 will still be that way after this week
Either Storm or NQ will be 1 win from 3 rounds

I agree trials mean jack!!! Look at parra in their trial and everyone was saying theyre premiership material! When you lose by such a big margin there is something more going on then just the heat.
The media seems awfully quiet on this however if it was the panthers the media would be all over it like a rash!!!

Bulldogs beat us in the trials. They beat us in the regular season.

That trial result WAS an indication of what was coming. Losing to a shit team.

Look at the ladder and 2/3 looks good. Look at those teams results against other sides...it puts us in perspective again. We look the exact same as last year. Same strengths. Same weaknesses. Sadly a climbing injury toll. Cleary out... this is shaping up as a repeat of 2015.

Will Hook get sacked if we miss finals like Cleary did though? Injuries werdnt an excuse for Cleary. So they shouldn't be for Hook.

Seems to be all the proof we needed now? Trials are just about a waste of time barring injuries.

Penrith were among the worst in the trials. Currently in second place.

Parramatta looked great and right now they are the worst team in the world (Haven't watched Huddersfield recently to be fair).

But we still havent faced a good team or even a decent team in good form. So far we're doing what we've done for the past 2 years. Beating most of the shit teams.

With Maloneys form you would think we could match a top 4 side. But until we do there's no way to know how we compare to the other top 4 teams.

Still can't believe we lost to the Bulldogs in the regular season aswell. Prior to this round their last 2 wins were us in trials and us in Round 3. Yet we are clearly much better than them.

They scored some very lucky tries - one of them that the referee's boss came out and said shouldn't have been awarded. That didn't happen and we wouldn't have dropped a game. Same goes for the Tigers who were robbed against Brisbane.

I can't blame a try a few minutes in for a loss. We played shit. We lost. Wrong call or not we spotted them a 14 point lead. And let them regain it after we got momentum.

That loss helped though. If we got away with another slow start theres less pressure to start well.
