That will the side to play the 2nd trial. 1st trial will be mainly younger guys. Tamou has a minor injury won't play. Blake and CHN are still coming from injury so doubt they will play. Maybe Maloney and Cleary to play a qtr

I think this

Luai
Sivo
Cartwright
Crichton
Brown
Maloney
Cleary
McKendry
Katoa
Browne
JFH
Kikau
Leota

Egan
Waddell
Ellis
Blore
Burns
Martin
Edwards
Whare

I thought they would go with a side like this originally but there is a Flegg and ISP game prior to First grade so I'm hoping we see a lot more first graders playing.

I am trying to think back. I think our 1st trial last year was mainly NSW Cup. Whare played but he was coming back from injury.

Your team could be right and NSW Cup come on after a qtr

Would love to go to Belmore as it is the only Sydney ground I have never been to.

I still think an opportunity was missed last season to have one of the 'Back to Belmore' matches last year to involve Penrith to mark 50 years since our first premiership match.
You’ve missed nothing
Last time I went many years ago I was told by security to take my jersey off or they couldn’t guarantee my safety as they had a certain element in the ground that did not like opposing supporters

I want Egan and Katoa to get big minutes. Wallace is solid at hooker. Actually pretty good when hes not playing with broken bones. But we need these guys to put themselves as legitimate alternatives.

Maybe if they do. Hook won't choose a busted Wallace ahead of fully fit players in decent form. Ideally he wont get banged up at all. But if he does we need to go for a healthy player.

I was there for multi cultural day. Watched the Lebanese flag make its way over to the Croatian flag and then a huge brawl.
Panthers won, I think it was girdler who kicked a field goal before halftime that won it for us

No Peter Wallace is the best thing in there for me as well as backline option for DWZ round 1.

No taking a shot at Wallace but he doesn't need a trial and Egan can really make a case for himself.

Egan starting ahead of Katoa? Wow. He must be training the house down.

I wonder if the trials will actually influence our Round 1 backline. Cartwright hasnt been replaced... so potentially we could promote one of these wingers to his top 30 spot and not use Blake or Whare on the wing.

That would be good.

I think this trial is unique as Griffin is under so much pressure for results this year + Cleary/Maloney haven't had actual game time together. It just feels more important this year.

No Blake is he injured?
Good to see Kikau in the starting side.
Interested in how Mckendry goes after such a long lay off.
26 players named. Wonder if they just do a first half team then a second half team?

They'll probably do that. Though we have only Luai to swap for half which is interesting.

Egan can play half. Keighran on the bench can too.

I doubt the FGers get more then a half on the field.

Keen to see Sivo and Egan in the top grade

I was assuming Egan would not shift from 9. Maybe interchange with Katoa. Never heard of Keighran. Agree about the 1 half for the fg squad just didn't see the options at half if they brought all the spine off.

Egan was 7 at times. From what I remember he was a 7 and moved due to Cleary.

Keighran was at dogs half or hooker. Katoa has played 5/8th too but usually in these games NSW Cup guys will come on. Some low on the bench will play there too. So to get decent game time
