Suffice to say that the only reason we're in this position is because of Smith. There is precisely zero chance we could even conceive getting into a winning position without him.

If he does keep this kind form up, he will deservedly go down as the next best behind Bradman. It's so much harder when the entire fortunes of a team rests solely on your shoulders as opposed to being the shiniest cog in a well oiled machine.
