So if not the salary cap where do the cuts land?
Somewhere out of the remaining $300million a year I suppose. I wonder how much would be lost from shifting a Thursday night to Sunday?

In terms of crowds Penrith is nowhere comparable to Newcastle. You're having a laugh if you think Penrith is rl heartland. How then do you explain your historically low attendances. There are more reasons for a stadium in Penrith than just about anywhere else, especially anywhere else in NSW.
Regardless of what Newcastle might claim, the true heartland of RL is in Penrith. It has more junior clubs than some clubs have junior teams. It attracts a greater percentage of its residents to games than anybody else!
People still use theories that rely on entire crowds coming from within a strict population area? You have a city with a population around 450000 and get 20-25k at a government funded stadium.
Penrith is around 200000 with a council owned stadium and get 15-20k. We have more sellouts than any other team in the NRL over the past 3 or 4 seasons. How many has Newcastle had? Zero sounds about right!

I could keep going, but you would never agree with the facts!

Parramatta have been doing pretty well in the new place with generally favourable timeslots. But no better really than when the previous one was new. Wests Tigers not nearly as good.Parra should be pretty good today you would think. Afternoon at BankWest with good NZ fan support.

Which Penrith is!In regional teams of course it works
If that happens, it won't be long. But these are the same tigers fans who reckon we should play out of Leichhardt oval for the rest of our existence

Parra seems kinda average. Reaaaaaally don't think BankWest haas translated into any uptick in crowds for Parramatta.
