Maybe you should stop thinking of Bankwest as some crowd savior, and start thinking about it being a modern facility that respects fans who attend. The game needed a comfortable, modern facility in a heartland area, and Bankwest provides it.

Well 17500 against warriors is up around 6000 on what it would have got at old place .

So bank west has increased crowds by 30 %

Would've been a better use of your time to reply with that to Burns. I'm supportive of the stadium's existence, even if it doesn't lead to any major increases over time.

Look, I get what you're saying. But you have to admit that better facilities are supportive of greater attendances. All that said, im gald that there was 17k there today. That should be the baseline.

In regional teams of course it works
Define a regional area for me?

Does it stop within a 20km, 30km, 50km, 100km radius?

People can and do travel much more for sporting events than they used to. Defining club regions hasn't been a thing for a while now - even regional areas.

Suggest daytime games as much as possible. Saturdays and Sundays work well. Even if it's 2 &4pm timeslots on both days.
I agree
However
Today
9am kickoff for one kid and 12.30 for the other on either sides of Cronulla.
I was flogged by the time I got home.

Kids sport really screws Saturdays.

A possible solution would be 15 to 18s playing on Sundays. This would free up some grounds and timeslots on a Saturday. Also workable on a Sunday pending on age groups of children. Understanding that all doesn't fit some scenarios.

Think the Melbourne crowd is poor. Heard that the Storm charge $50plus for those seats on the longer sides. For mine that is too much! Should be $30. They would gain bigger crowds and subsequent following if they had reasonable price tickets. The seats at the ends are mostly full due to their price being more affordable ( mid $20 I think? )

It isn't a bad point for most games actually. Those seats on the sideline side, upper tier in the corners are never full. Could do with dropping them a category for games where a sellout isn't a threat.

Rubbish. There is one team in Newcastle, Canberra etc. So the vast majority of RL fans in those cities are Raiders or Knights fans

Not everyone who lives in those catchments supports those teams though. And with how much easier it is to travel in the last couple of decades, fanbase boundaries mean much less nowadays

Titans empty bay strategy.. is so f**ked up..

Once you open the end . Why shoe horn everyone into 3 bays.. leaving 2 empty

Zero staff saving in that
