Is it a case of Knights' fans having enough of the back office rubbish? Never known bad weather to stop a big crowd there.

Looks like the glory days are over for Souffs. Top 4 with a week to go and only averaging 15k. What happened to the club with an army of fans? Being put to shame by the Roosters.

I like the cut of your jibe

To give you a completely honest answer though, history shows that teams that haven't won a comp or haven't won for a considerable time get better crowds than teams who are more regularly successful.

That's what happened with souths in 2014, dragons in 2010 and (the finals at least) sharks in 2016 and tigers in 2005.

It will happen with parra every time they make the finals until they finally do win another one.

This notion that any of those teams amongst others have way more fans than our own two clubs is proven time and again to be wrong.

This is the smallest crowd I have been a part of in Newcastle.
I have respect for the Newcastle fans for not only what they've been through this year, but all the sh*t that's happened every few years since Bennett left. They still turn up every week no matter if they're 14th or 4th. After everything that happened this week with Brown, the Pearce and Ponga rumors and the weather, I kinda knew that it wasn't gonna draw, especially against the Titans.

Against the Gold Coast in the wet cold weather? ! And written off for any finals appearance! I'm prepared to salute those that have shown up. I had a membership entry for today but am.not going due to the reasons I've just mentioned.

Same. If it was a lovely sunny day I might have gone. But the weather is horrible. And after the last week, not excited to go sit in the weather for it.

Our 8k in ordinary weather is still comparable and better than some Sydney crowds. A lot better figure than what I was expecting ,, all considering. As I write this, it's just started to flog down raining again here in Newcastle.

I, as a Knights member chose not to go because of the rain, not because of the Brown/admin bs.

Richmond is the team .. or club or whatever.

They have over 100k members don't know if it's 103 or 105..
So it's one team, not multiple.

If you're gonna throw bullshit figures around, at least attempt to get them right.
