But who cares if 105k want to spend $50 a year who cares

That would imply any teams reach that figure - the highest is 103k; and the next after it is 90k.

I do agree with the second part of your post though - membership figures are generally always higher than a club's average home crowd, and the more people that want to fund the club through a membership - be it a season ticket or otherwise - the better

Richmond is the team .. or club or whatever.

They have over 100k members don't know if it's 103 or 105..
