The raiders have invested extemely well. It doesnt necessarily mean anything. The roosters having good business connections means more than any "super" club in cronulla

There is basically an entire new suburb built on top of shark park
Plus another massive one within walking distance.
Plus a massive shopping centre being built there.

This will have a huge flow on to the club.
Money wise and crowd wise.

So you're suggesting that shopping centres nearby are the key to increasing crowds?

Means jackshit (well outside of keeping the team solvent) because of the salary cap. Do you think the broncos are struggling for cash. They have just been poor with talent identification and salary cap management

Least you don't need to build a large trophy cabinet like the other super clubs.

It will keep the costs down.

I mean i understand why sharks fans hype this up but nothing is certain. I mean Brisbane have the second largest rugby league city on earth to itself and they have struggled for a decade.

Some shops and a new suburb does not a super club make. Excellent talent identification, business connections and a well run front office is what it takes. I actually believe that clubs are salary cap compliant just some clubs are better with it than others.

It reminds me of my club pushing for a larger salary cap because we do ok with money but not so good at running a front office

Exactly. I would of thought they'd restructure and fix the club's financial/operating position, culture and staff before trying to redevelop anything, let alone a huge scale stadium/infrastructure project. If this all goes south, then we all know what the NRL is going to do.

Lucky we have Uncle Nick, the best businessman in the state at our helm.

Your post history demonstrates differently...

I'm seriously surprised at how upset you are about the Melbourne Storm crowd from last night?

I’m upset you think?

I surprised how many bites I’ve got out of you..
I thought by now you would’ve worked it out.
