When's the last time Cronulla got a 20k crowd to Shark Park?

If the Storm were 1 of 10 teams in a city and getting these type of crowds; I agree they should be relocated. But being the only team in a city there is more value to a 20k Storm crowd (due to TV rights, expanded national presence, etc.)

But there's no point in the NRL carrying 10 teams in Sydney that most can't even gain a 'respectable' crowd figure when that same crowd figure could be gained in Perth, Adelaide or Brisbane 2 and improve the overall value of the TV rights figure due to an increased national audience.

For a start you can't count! There are nine top flight clubs. And it's not just Sydney itself . The ILLAWARRA is very much a part of the St George-Illawarra Dragons. And if you do want to get the number to ten teams : Central Coast Bears can easily fix some developing issues for this code in Northern Sydney through to Gosford. So get team numbers right and your population bases right and you may have a platform to discuss.Atm your comment is based on falsehoods.

Storm should be getting 30k every week.
1 team in the entire state of Victoria.
20k for a massive finals match is f**king shithouse.

AAMI Park doesn't even fit 30k-- but I guess trolls gotta troll.

I'll ask my previous again-- when's the last time Cronulla got 20k @ Shark Park? Should be remained the Cronulla minnows.

Are you minnows really claiming that the 2016 Grand Final crowd was all Sharks supporters??

The majority of Grand Final tickets are sold weeks/months out before the Grand Final and is predominately neutral fans and not there for the Sharks. As someone who went to the 2016 Grand Final--- I can safely say there was less than half that ground that were actually supporting the Sharks and definitely more than 300 Storm fans; probably closer to 3-4k.

I know you’re intentionally being facetious, but as one of those ‘300 Storm losers’ I can assure you that there were more than 300 of us. But hey, go off.

If you’ve got over 80k fans you should be able to sell out Shark Park for every game.

Do you think he's just jealous that I've only been following NRL for 20 years and my team is one win away from me attending my 9th Grand Final?

Storm home crowds have doubled in the past decade-- bigger growth than most clubs in the NRL.

Still shit considering there is no other NRL team in competition for the public’s support.

The entire state of Victoria could only manage 21k for a final!!

That is pathetic.

Should move Melbourne to Sydney.
