Depends though. Using WSS as an example. How many people will go into Parra Leagues as a result? Why would a team want to help a competitors bottom line? That sort of stuff is why teams won't move entirely

Isn’t there a cap on off field expenses now? The league’s club can have all the money in the world but it doesn’t help the competition if they cant spend it.

Agree. That's why suburban grounds are still very relevant. A smart balance needs to be used.

This week Manly and Panthers are playing home games elsewhere which helps out the Clubs. So can be done without moving to centralised grounds

Not sure what that is.
A cap you are allowed to breach but then have to pay the same amount you breached by to the NRL.

So if the Cap is $1.5M an you spend $2M you have to pay $500K to the NRL

# Just checked it is a soft cap that cops a 37% tax for overspending.

I'm not sure this ever came in, I didn't see any confirmation the clubs had agreed to it. Only that a proposal was put to them. NRL cant police a salary cap, how on earth would they police this?

Crap weather in Brisbane. Heavy showers to the south and expected today after a very wet Wednesday. 24k, I think.

The Roosters are taking their game against Cowboys to Central Coast stadium and one week later they are playing the Knights at the SCG why wouldnt they have taken the Knights game to Central Coast instead. It would probably sell out.
That is utter madness. They should play both there or cowboys at north Sydney oval. It’s like this club is begging everyone to want to move them.

They should just play 6 at Central coast this year..

Going to be some howlers at scg..

A swans crowd may actually beat a rooster crowd by 700% during this year

Knights fans travel to Sydney, and by taking the Cowboys game to CC, you get an uptick in crowd due to locals going to the game.

If the Knights game is moved to CC, yes it get's a good crowd, but the game against the Cowboys in Sydney would have a much worse attendance.

It seems illogical, but there is a rational logic to it.
