So who pays for the lower ticket prices?

the wrestling coaches could take a pay cut, and several of the other completely useless, counter productive football department people. What is the point of Gould? Cut him and his type and the money you save reduce the Thursday night ticket price and that would be the best thing Gould has done for league in 20 years.

Friday night is better than Thurs. WT v Panthers would sell out if it wasn't a Friday. Possibly Souffs and Dragons too

Is WT v Panthers on a thurs night? that sucks, with the Clearys v WT that match up is now a grudge match, would sell out easily on any other day

Personally I think the nrl should foot the bill. They made up these times so they should compensate clubs who play in them, with the exception of us of course.

I don’t think even cutting ticket prices in half would make that big a difference, if people can’t be bothered going or struggle with the time slot at $30 why would they bother for $15.

The raiders have a deal with one of the pubs where if you buy a meal you get a free ticket and bus to and from the game.

So anywhere from $20 for a burger or pizza, to $40 for rib eye you get a ticket and transport, great deal.

That’s an awesome deal.

Should be a larger than normal crowd at Shark Park. Weather's perfect and the local "dance spectacular" is on at half time.

Didn't read that right did you!? Cheaper tickets on Thursdays should be marketed and well publicised for Thursday games. That's it ! Nothing else stated.

If you need cheap tickets to pull fans to the clubs spiritual home, the ground is clearly not very popular...

Sell cheaper tickets at a decent central ground where they can actually afford the cheaper tickets and they can sell to both sets of fans.

Yes true everyone loves going to the big stadiums especially if they are from Penrith or Manly

I’m sure we would have got a massive 13000 for this clash at ANZ

Dont pick the worst examples and pretend that proves anything...

If Dragons, Souths and Rooster had campaigned together, they would have a deal for a great SFS (maybe even in a better location)

Youre a moron if you think the only options are what the stadiums already standing.

Simple fact for is Penrith and Brooky are never gonna get gov money for redevelopments. Panthers f*cked up when they didnt campaign for the WSS to be build in Blacktown where you can use it regulary. SeaEagles should head to the central coast.

Mate, you’re an absolute cry baby.

God help you if you ever have to spend any time in a real dump.

I don’t see the Roosters pulling big crowds regularly. The big ANZAC Day game against St George bloats their figures. Other than that, they’re the same as everyone else.

So if another WSS was build in a good location, you think it would still sit empty for the Roosters?

the sun is out in Newcastle so everyone is at the beach. This could effect the crowd I predict 20k.
