Or maybe just schedule games at suburban grounds for Saturday or Sunday afternoons, because that's where the nostalgia lies.

Or maybe f*ck of suburban grounds all together....

What happened to "suburban grounds are where fans wanna go"? If a Suburban ground ALSO needs a decent derby AND a decent slot, it is clearly not that much of a drawcard.

If you have a good slot and a good opposition, play it at a good stadium and draw a good crowd.

Saints and Souths was not a decent slot. Thursday night isn't fan friendly. However I've seen or heard nothing about cheaper Thursday night tickets!? Absolutely nothing. That's poor marketing on my books!

Couldn't agree more.

Why does the clash NEED a decent slot fans cant get enough of the suburbs?

Didn't read that right did you!? Cheaper tickets on Thursdays should be marketed and well publicised for Thursday games. That's it ! Nothing else stated.

Yes true everyone loves going to the big stadiums especially if they are from Penrith or Manly

I’m sure we would have got a massive 13000 for this clash at ANZ

A great crowd in Canberra as well 14,030 it’s a shame the raiders have been given some bad time slots for their next few home games but hopefully the team is competitive. It appears Canberra responds to a decent team.

No way there was 45 k there, what is the stadiums capacity?

Was plenty of spare seats all over the place, heaps of them from what I saw.
Haha... I’ve been to almost every broncos game since Suncorp opened and I am shocked that there were ONLY 45k there.

Best to only comment on stadiums that you are very familiar with.

Stadium members were decent, refer to upper lower bowl (not the cages, they are corporates) and middle tier:

Most of the empty seats are in the purposely unsold general admission areas, see middle tier near corners:

round 2 and we're already hearing the excuses, and theres only one solution to "to many games in sydney"..

Even if there is too much choice, wouldn't 2 local, traditional rivals be one of the games to watch?

And if the suburban grounds are too hard to get to then whats the point of playing at them? Isn't that the whole point of them?
I get this year it couldn't of happened but if the sfs was still open would it of gotten any less?

Not that at all. I am going to 15 games this year. Bathurst next week included but the round 6 against Sharks on a Thurs night doesn't suit.

I am sure many others are in the same boat where they can't attend every game so you choose

Where does it say to be a fan of your team you need to go to every game?
