Terrible crowd at ANZ. I don’t blame the fans. It’s a terrible time slot which the NRL have to acknowledge & whatever they think is the value for selling this game, it’s doing irreparable damage. This game should be sold as an afternoon game.
Also now fans in Sydney can see what a proper game day experience is at a proper rectangular stadium, expect to see ANZ crowds drop

I agree with you, but in all seriousness, would this game have gotten over 10k at any timeslot?

Apart from being in trash form, the club works its arse off within reason to get people to the game (ticket offers etc). The 6pm timeslot against a team from Townsville who are in equally trash form is always going to produce a poor crowd figure.
