I can relate to this. Greenway was always going to be labor, I voted with them, but it wouldn’t have mattered either way. I am a bit better off either with LNP, but either way my family will be more or less the same and I preferred policy which did a better job at addressing the future of renewable energy. The status quo sux, but it is all we will get in the future after this result.

I reckon people bagged Libs to feel like they fit in.This is the view of someone who knows little about politics but my own opinion. They did not want to be seen like homopobes or racists which is the picture that plenty tried to associate with liberals rather then what they actually stand for.
And the polls where sucked in. And although plenty wont admitted to it they voted for them cause of the opinion if you vote for libs your a capitalist selfish pig who hates creative/alternate people,Gays and immigrants. Nothing to do with policies at all. Just something labor used as there weapon.
