Also as an aside i believe the current rulea are that the defending player must be intentionally grounding the ball in goal. Ill look the rule up later but i remember this coming up last year

I’ve seen several instances in recent seasons of the defender being allowed to get out of his in goal after grounding it, but don’t recall a try for the opposition being allowed in that situation. Probably fair considering he clearly was trying to get out but I expected them to go back to the grounding.
