Imagine being a jersey supplier to the NRL

Would be the worst job ever..

Sponsor patches being plonked on at the last minute.. empty jerseys people signing on as major sponsors in March..

How the f**k do these sponsorship contracts work.. how can amart pull out now ?

Tigers wore last year's heritage jersey for the trial.
Old NRL logo and a patch over a back sponsor (CrownBet).

Tigers also had had a patch over their back sponsor.

Probably more to do with that spot being where Crownbet was (old jersey) and where Neds will go and the fact that gambling sponsorship isn't allowed in New Zealand.

The other Neds spot was also patched.

Online real estate company Purple Bricks will be the new front of jersey sponsor for Melbourne Storm. It's supposedly a one year deal.

Just being nit-picky and its hard to tell not seeing the whole jersey but it seems a bit too wide and too high up

This version probably would of looked better

but it could be a lot worse so Im not complaining

The non-stacked logo is ok on the main jersey as it is based on a solid navy background, agree though the stacked logo would have balanced out the kit better...

Not sure how it will go on the away with the gradient line effects...might get messy, or see the need for a white box to be added.

It’ll be a big purple box.

Not a bad sponsor
Just don't search for reviews, seems they have quite a few unhappy clients. We have gone from a nationally recognised entertainment/hospitality brand to a questionable budget real estate agent... :(

Interesting juxtapositioning there... plenty of question marks over Crown.

Most other Storm sponsorship deals are announced as being long term (up to five years) so the fact that this deal with Purple Bricks is only confirmed for 2019 is a little concerning. I wouldn't be surprised if we're stuck looking for another new front of jersey sponsor in a year.

Chances are they wanted someone on there and PB came in at the right price point. Gives their commercial team more time to work on a better long term deal either for that company or a bigger fish.
