Possibly but that sponsor was in the same position and the same size during interviews at times in 2018 so I don't know if I'd read too much into that.

Personally I would prefer the roosters limit their white-red-white band to a narrower white-red band at the edge of the sleeve like they used to. I know they are trying to replicate the bands of their heritage jerseys but those bands were on 3/4 length jerseys so didn't appear until the elbow which gave a nice break of blue between the shoulders to the elbow. The way they have it now looks too crammed which has also meant that their V is narrower and doesn't come to a point further down the shoulders.

The sleeve stripe as-is worked with QBE as sponsor but may not with whoever replaces them. Your proposed idea is a decent compromise and would be similar to cutting off the sleeves at the elbow.
I'd rate pretty much any V jersey before this version as better, 2014 too. The angular V is really awkward.
