How much for your cat?
Why not.

Pet Membership costs:

Broncos $45
Raiders $45
Bulldogs $45
Sea Eagles - $50
Eels - $45
Panthers - $30
Rabbitohs - $62
Wests Tigers - $45

Sharks, Titans, Storm, Knights, Cowboys, Dragons, Roosters and Warriors don't do it.

Souths' pricing is odd, Manly's too. Dragons and Eels probably charging too much as well.

As a supporter base we learnt what happens in 2000-2001 if we don't financially support our club. We also learnt in 2006 the value of membership and voting rights.

Most Souths members I know consider it a donation, really - a show of support. There is a culture now of membership amongst the supporter base. If you can't make it to games, still become a non-ticketed member. It's a large reason IMO as to why our membership numbers are high.

Seriously it's spelt out, can't believe anyone is bitching about it.

Warriors have boosted their membership numbers by offering half price memberships this year. They want to increase that number by offering fans the option to sign up for a membership then claim a refund if they're not happy with the first 3 games.

I am awed by the vision of the future.

"Establish world-class rectangular stadia in key markets": i.e. try to blackmail the NSW government into providing two new Sydney venues and bugger any other areas.

"Expansion is back on the table": Unless (according to the graphic) you happen to believe that the game needs a CQ presence or a second Brisbane team. Also, we obviously think our best hope for players of the future is to recruit Maoris and Pacific Islanders.

"Upgraded transportation": Yeah, pull the other one, it's got bells on

All this in a brochure that took the work experience kid 2 and a half hours (including his lunch break) to knock up in Microsoft Publisher. With absolutely no suggestion of how they intend to achieve any of it.

It's not a strategic plan, it's a wish list. I think the only chance it has of success is if Greenberg* writes "Dear Santa, I would like..." at the top of it and posts it to the North Pole.

* I hope he's been good

1. North Queensland is also getting a new stadium.
2. CQ should not get a team, Brisbane 2 has not been ruled out?

Generally a start plan is things you want to achieve in the coming years, not stuff you've already got happening lol

They've decided membership is no longer a strategic priority, or attendances, or increasing revenue. Happy days.

That had nothing to do with the NRL - but I'm sure they'll take the credit.

that’s not true.

The Cowboys had to chip in $10mil towards the construction of the stadium, they had to take out a loan to cover it. The NRL is paying the interest component of the loan. The state gov made it quite clear that the Cowboys had to chip in $$ to make this new stadium happen. So yes, the NRL are within their rights to take some of the credit.

The $10mil is also the first 10 years worth of rent at the stadium.

I dont understand why you think they should tell you this....

If you wanna know what the plan is, apply for a job. Really, announcing their stratagy would be a terrible idea. And be honest, if they DID announce the plan, you would just complain about what was announced.

Growth has slowed a little, only 9k in front of last season, although much of that owes to clubs like Brisbane, Newcastle, WT and Penrith in particular not updating their figures for a while. Cronulla's needle hasn't shifted for a while either.

https://leagueunlimited.com/news/32567-2019-nrl-club-membership-tracker/

"As of yesterday morning, the club has 16,285 members, a record for this time of the year, more than 4000 ahead of where the Knights were at the corresponding period in 2018."
