Newcastle's numbers are definitely promising but always seem to be pre-season - they don't sell many once season kicks off though and often slide down the 'ladder' unlike the clubs around them (have a look at the 2018 'Final' column).
Whilst that is true they're still almost 5k up on last season. If we factor in the same limited growth in sales they'll still hit 22k members.

You'd think the SCG move is certainly a factor.

Me and 4 mates would buy the four ticket package every year(being from out of town) none of them but me were interested in the same package, but still bought the 1 game membership, do all memberships count, or just full season ticket purchases?

I can understand numbers for people in Sydney being down due to the SCG, but all supporters should still buy the minimum membership package with no tickets, to still support the club.

Some teams starting to really fall behind now.

- Counters not updated in the past week for the Broncos, Knights, Dragons
- Still no counter WT (although NRL updated for it), Penrith, Titans
- Removed counter - Bulldogs

We're now 1k behind last year.

Roosters and Cowgirls- just imagine the numbers in a wooden spoon year - wow
Bulldogs - I understand the pain
Manly - fair weather supporters obviously
Titans- WTF ? ....give every school kid in the region a 10 dollar season membership- every kid goes to the game with an adult.Anything has got to be better than those rubbish numbers.

Love the regular updates on the numbers it’s great work timmah.

Knights and the west tigers are going hard this year. Titans are struggling massively, they shouldn’t be, the Gold Coast is changing, it’s got a massive population now, they are still missing the mark with engagement.

How do the nrl members packs compare with the AFL ones for duel fans ?.

They should move to the Central Coast for the year they would get 18k there for sure. That would have ben the best move.

NQ, whilst disappointing at the moment, it will continually grow all season and we will jump up the ladder considerably as time goes on. The floods in Tvl wouldn’t be helping matters at all, fair bit of distraction and heartache going on.

Not to mention we basically had a wooden spoon season last year, and have won a number of them in our existence whilst easily out doing the vast majority for crowd average in that timeframe.

Sharks membership almost triple of Gold Coast.

Gold Coast have a far superior stadium to sell memberships for and are a regional Club.

What a f**k up it was to give the Gold Coast a licence again.

Which sort of stuffs Gallop's old theory,"to fish where the fish are".Trouble is the fish might need deep ocean trawlers not tinny runabouts.
