If and I say IF we can sign Bennett and he brings Pangai Junior and Oates with him, then I think we would be the second best chance of winning the comp next year, behind Easts. I just read an article in Foxsports saying that Brisbane won't be extending Bennett's contract which expires at the end of next year. The article said that Bennett would be coaching Brisbane. Did the Channel Nine story, say that Bennett wouldn't be coaching Brisbane next year?

I will add that on the Jubilee Avenue forum, there was a link to an article suggesting that McGregor's manager was in talk with our club to extend his contract? If it is true then I am shaking my head in disbelief. As if any other clubs are going to be trying to sign McGregor up. lol

ALSGI did say that we have a big signing coming up and that he could "feel" it in his bones. The word feel doesn't fill me with any confidence. If he said that he had some good mail that we were about to make a big signing, that would fill me with more confidence.

Well after reading on the Never Before, Never Again story. I realised that we won 10 of our 11 premierships in a row all with a captain coach. Maybe making Graham Captain Coach would be a good idea.

The fact that we won 10 premierships in a row with a captain coach, which almost equates to no coach, is quite astounding in my opinion. One could say that Kearney, Proven and Walsh all had the cattle. lol

I would like to see Graham given some kind of coaching role with us when he retires. I love his passion and he is as tough as.

The first string coach in my opinion possum , if Mary can retain the same gig for years knowing what he knows about coaching ( ) then the red headed cattle dog must surely do a better job through sheer inspiration alone .
