Now that Bennett is coming I expect that GI will be moved back to fullback. I don’t know what kind of backline you guys are expecting but I think we could see a backline of maybe

1. GI
2. AJ
3. Gagai
4. Jennings
5. Graham

You would think we debut Allan somewhere in the 2-5 positions but how early you can never know. I’m also not sure who would be a better centre out of Jennings and Graham. I’d possibly even like to see Burns put his hands up. I liked what I saw of Burns last season.
I'll hold onto my thoughts in regards to this until we know 100% who our coach is going to be because who knows what's going on at the moment?

Has Jennings actually re-signed yet? If not, that's where Burns slots in.
I think he may have. Conflicting rumours at this stage but he is training with the group.

Are we some sort of soft touch or what! Cook bbqing us for every cent linked with multiple clubs no signing announcement.
AJ rumoured to be on the verge of signing with cronulla .
Gagai leaving for balmain
Braiden burns on cronullas wish list.
Why dont we just close up,shut the shop and grant all our players releases, this is a bloody joke, we have bought nothing but second graders let how many go and everyone pinches our players at will. We got problems, bennets playing us,seibold has played us, is there anyone with cahounas to stop this rot. If richo cant see our players have hit rock bottom maybe next season when we are in the bottom they may finaly figure it out

We all need to take a deep breath.
The coaching swap was always going to happen now it has we can get on with business.
The only player I can see leaving is AJ.
AJ wants to be fullback and we all know including Bennett he's not a fullback.
We have Hiroti and Alan who call fill in on the wings if AJ leaves.
It will probably help us save some money too.
Cook will be re-singed.
I read Bennett has already made contact with him.
Gagai is no chance of leaving with Bennett coming.
Him linking up with the Tigers because of Madge is bit a laugh.
He never played under Madge.
He came to the club because Inglis wanted him here.
Inglis was going through that tough period last year and the club thought it was good for him and the club to bring in Gagai.
They are really close, they are in fact in Bali together atm while the rest of the team are back training.
Also are we forgetting it was Bennett that coached Gagai at Newcastle and Bennett also tried to sign him back to Broncos?
In short I think AJ is good as gone.
The fullback position will be between Inglis and Gagai.

I don’t see how you think Gagai May be fullback he gets manhandled more than AJ on kick returns he also may be lighter than AJ so that makes no sense

AJ had the lowest average run meters of any fullback this season with 89.8 meter a game.
Gagai in his only starting game at fullback this season ran for 203m with 2 try assists which funnily enough was against Bennett's Broncos.

So your basing your opinion on Gagai playing 1 game where he made a long distance break in comparison to AJ who was there basically all year, sorry mate no logic or sense their at all, plus since when are we discussing stats

If you want to be a stats only guy check this
Gagai 92kgs
AJ 95kgs
Did u not watch Gagia get ragdolled all last year ,exactly the same as AJ did

What does weight have anything to do with it?
The only thing we should be looking at is the performance on the field.
AJ out of all the fullbacks in the NRL this season ran for the lowest averaged run meters.
Even from centre Gagai averaged 113m this season which is more than AJ did from fullback
If you want to look at tackle break stats AJ had 54 tackle breaks, Gagai had 95 tackle breaks.
Almost twice as many.
Are you still trying to tell me AJ is a better ball runner than Gagai?
AJ had 11 try assists this season, Gagai still managed 10 try assists from centre.
All I'm saying if anyone is going to leave with Bennett coming it's going to be AJ and I wouldn't be surprise if Bennett shifts Gagai to fullback.

I didn’t mention anything except disagree with the fact you said you think Gagai maybe fullback mate,Gagai is nearly as useless at putting his body on the line defensively as AJ is blurt whatever stats you want but they are all irrelevant to me disagreeing with you thinking Gagai May be fullback

Look i like AJ ON THE WING, where he dosent need to step and gig and maneuver, where like jennings he takes the ball runs straight and scores, he is faster than jennings as well but perhaps a tad smaller in frame than jennings, who if uncle toby follows bennet probably wont be resigned. I would keep 1 of the 2 and i get the feeling AJ wont be going now, cronulla has signed johnson to play 5.8 that means moylan will play FB and as a winger he isnt worth more than the 350/400 he is on so i say he stays jennings looks like going

Gagai won a Wally Lewis medal from the wing. Getting manhandled on kick returns will not be a problem for him.
Playing out the the wing outside the best backline in Oz is a lot different to returning kicks into a set waiting defensive line, how can you even compare the 2 positions, they have zero in common ,also did you not watch all this year with your own eyes and see him being ragdolled when in traffic ,come on mate your smarter than that

The biggest issue with AJ at fullback is his defence - he is often caught out of position. I would prefer to see GI back there.

Guys don’t get me wrong I love Gagai but I don’t think he’s a fullbacks ass crack tbh same as I love AJ but only as a winger :sunglasses:
In saying that I would love to be proved wrong but from what I watched all this year for both these guys unless in space they get ragdolled every time don’t know what you were watching

Has she been brainwashing the kids with a lefty agenda?
No she’s pretty cool mate she knows I don’t take that rubbish but from socialising with loads of teachers over the years my opinion is solid that nearly all think they are always right lol :joy:
