Glorious victory it's that simple
Horrific officiating
3 Panthers should have spent time off the field but no
Knock ons ignored
The clearly better side won and have now stamped themselves as genuine premiership contenders
Go the mighty Broncos

We had 2 sent off and you wanted more?

Maloney, how he gets away with dragging back the fullback about to receive the ball whilst being in an off-side position, apparently it's not a professional foul.
It's more on observation of the ref performance and inconsistency (all year, all teams). I was waiting for the warnings and threats as per usual. Anyway, I'm not making this a we lost cus of the refs thing.

It was a game of Dumb & Dumberer. We were so fooking dumb in losing the ball, passing the ball to someone not expecting it. Penalties galore. The real indication of this game should have been a 30 point win to the Broncos.

We don't deserve to be in the finals. Heres hoping the Sharks get their shit going and stir the finals series up a bit. Congrats to Broncos...We are toast.

yep, enjoy being bundled out in week 1 by the Eels or Sea Eagles.

Payne Haas you weapon. Great game and if we were really contenders we would have put a lot more on Penrith in the first half. The Panthers played like the bumbling Broncos tonight.

They get in the finals, they'll be a mystery bag being that it's hard to predict which Broncos side will turn up. If they can put in defensively like they did tonight, they'll go deep into the finals.

3. Haas - This young man's career is going to reach altitudes that very, VERY few prop forwards have ever reached. He is a sensation. You're lucky to see players of his quality once every 30 years or more.
2. Isaako - Really happy for him. He's found his form again and is looking like our 2nd most potent backline weapon other than Oates. A double plus many goals. Can't ask for much more.
1. Lodge - I knew I had to give the 1 to another forward, but I couldn't give it to TPJ cause he still has bad habits in his game that are costing us. Lodge was the next best. Another big effort from the big man and just the right amount of enforcer in him, something that Pangai needs to work on.

TV ratings, crowds and general interest would all drop in the final quarter of the season though. Last year 8th was only 2 points behind 1st, 8th has also made the grand final a few times.

I liked the old top 5, you got the best of the best and the team that finished on top got a great advantage with a bye in the first week of the finals
Agreed
But I guess mongoose has a point about ratings dropping if the top 5 seemed like a forgone conclusion with a few rounds left to play
